In the vast expanse where dreams reside,
Amidst the heavens, I gracefully glide.
I don’t know if I’m flying or falling by,
Yet, soaring on wings of courage, I’m in the sky.
My feathers ache, burdened with the past,
Yet newfound freedom arrives at last.
With every beat, my soul takes flight,
For in the sky, I find my might.
Time’s grasp eludes my soaring flight,
As I dance with clouds, so pure and white.
I may not know where my path does lie,
But fear dissolves as I’m in the sky.
Alone I soar, or so it seems,
Embracing doubts, and quiet screams.
But deep within, a fire burns,
With faith, my spirit brightly yearns.
To flap and rise or to descend,
In the sky, my journey shall not end.
Through highs and lows, I’ll still defy,
For I’ve learned to embrace the sky.
So I’ll keep flapping, keep on trying,
No matter the winds, no matter the crying.
With heart aglow, my spirit high,
Always and forever, I’ll be in the sky.
